Are you Dancing? a First Dance Story…

You never know what you will get with the first dance, some don’t want one, some like to keep it low key while others like to really go for it. Sam & Paul had their wedding reception at the Nottinghamshire Golf and Country Club near Cotgrave. Paul had an idea that he would like to do something a little unexpected with Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk ft. Bruno Mars, and without Sam’s knowledge. As Sam and Paul stepped up for their first dance the DJ deliberately started the wrong song, so Paul went over with his angry face to have words as Claire, the Nottinghamshire’s wedding planner sneakily took Sam off to a chair in front of the dance floor. Reaching behind the Dj booth he pulled out a hat and popped it on as the opening bars to Uptown funk started. Sam looked completely bewildered (but not surprised lol) as Paul boogied away alone for 30 seconds until his bestman joined him, then a groomsman, then another and before you knew it all the boys were in full swing. The family and guests absolutely loved it and I have to take my hat off to Paul and the boys, it was a great performance that will be remembered within their family for a lifetime and beyond.
