I felt the need to share this wedding from Sutton Bonington Hall when I found out this venue will be no more come the end of this year. It has been purchased by a private individual and it will be turned their home. It is an exclusive Queen Ann country house wedding venue, situated in a beautiful country village on the border of Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. It is set in beautifully landscaped gardens, Sutton Bonington Hall could be used as an after church reception venue or as a wedding venue in it’s own right.
As a Nottingham wedding photographer, I was invited to cover Hayley and Iain’s wedding in April 2011. Hayley’s preparations were held at the Kegworth House Hotel situated in Kegworth village which is a traditional, welcoming, small, country-house style hotel which has over 350 years of history.
The morning of the wedding was so calm and relaxed but the atmosphere was so joyful. The whole day was just stunning, even the weather stayed beautiful as befits a spring wedding day. The atmosphere was so happy all day long, it was a pleasure to record such an event. One of the highlights for me was Hayley beating Iain at croquet, I don’t think he will ever live it down Before I knew it, the day was over, the first dance had finished and the light entertainers and disco had started.
Hayley and Iain are now expecting their first child in a few months and Im really looking forward to meeting this new addition to their family. First and foremost they are soul mates but they are also fantastic people with a lot to offer their children, so I wish them congratulations and a happy life together. Below is a few photos from the day, I hope they show off what a fantastic day it was.
